Each country or region follows a particular legal framework laying down the rules for placing cosmetics, personal care & toiletries on the market. BIORIUS addresses each country on a case by case basis.

The cosmetics, personal care & toiletries industry in the ASEAN Member States is governed by the ASEAN Harmonized Cosmetic Regulatory Scheme which covers the ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement of Product Registration Approvals for Cosmetics and the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive. BIORIUS assists with the national implementation of these regulatory procedures by ASEAN Member States.
To inform, advise and assist exporting companies at a local level, BIORIUS set up a network of agents in Canada, Australia and China, who act as local contacts to facilitate the exchange of data necessary to meet the requirements for placing cosmetic products on a particular market.
To offer its regulatory services to companies based in Latin America and the Caribbean and ensure a presence in America, BIORIUS is opening a subsidiary in Orlando (Florida, USA) in August 2010.
